Use china, candles, placemats or a vase to introduce these colours to your dinner table. You should also try to create harmony between the table décor and the surrounding furnishings, fabrics and window treatments. For harmony think lilac lounge curtains and purple placemats. Or if you would like a little more vigour think black Venetian blinds set as a backdrop to zingy orange tableware.
